Series 1: Ep. 08 - Men's Health at work
In this episode, I talk to male colleagues specifically about Men’s Health at work, and how staff can give themselves an all important Man MOT while having a busy working life.
Men’s Health Forum research shows that a major factor to poor men’s health is a reluctance to take time off work – particularly for mental health issues. And it seems like it’s a fear that may well be justified.
A third - 34% - of working-age men would be embarrassed or ashamed to take time off work for mental health issue such as anxiety or depression compared to only 13% for a physical injury.
